Everything you need to know about EuroMillions

The EuroMillions lottery was first launched in 2004 in Paris with draws occur every Tuesday and Friday night at 20:45 CET and consists of 5 primary numbers from a pool of 50 and 2 lucky star numbers from a pool of 12. To win the major prize, you have to pick all five of the primary numbers, and both of the lucky star numbers correctly.

There are 13 different prize divisions, ranging from matching 2 numbers to matching 5 numbers plus the 2 lucky star numbers. If no player picks all the numbers correctly, the prize jackpot on the next draw.

EuroMillions conducts a number of Super Draws each year, these events exist outside the normal jackpot cycle, and if won, the prize does not roll over to the next draw. Super Draw prizes are usually substantially higher than a standard jackpot (usually above £100,000,000) and occur approximately twice per calendar year.
